The appointment follows a planned leadership transition, as Aalyria shifts its focus toward driving product innovation and commercial growth. Taylor has led Aalyria since its founding, guiding the company through its Series B fundraise and establishing it as a pioneer in advanced connectivity technology. Taylor and former Chief Strategy Officer Donald "Chip" Ashworth Cox, III are departing the company to pursue their other endeavors.
Aalyria and HICO sign MOU to Deploy High-Speed Laser Communications Capability Across Hundreds of Commercial Ships Worldwide
Aalyria Technologies and HICO Investment Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (‘MOU’) that outlines the objectives and framework of a collaboration to deploy up to 200 of Aalyria’s high-speed, free space optics communications platforms across the maritime industry throughout the Middle East, Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Caribbean.
